Law Society calls for extra pre-cautions in court after two Judges test positive.

MBABANE: Thulani Maseko, the Secretary General of the Law Society of Swaziland (LSS) said all necessary measures and precautions must be taken to ensure the safety of court staff and other court users.

This comes after this Swaziland News reported that two Judges has tested positive to COVID-19, their results were among those announced by Health Minster Lizzie Nkosi on Monday evening. 

Speaking to this publication, the LSS Secretary General said all those with contacts with those suspected to have contracted the virus must immediately be given attention in accordance with the national health regulations and international standards.

All necessary measures and precautions must be taken to ensure the safety of the Court staff and all Court users. The LSS long expressed concern about the apparent high numbers that continued to be seen around the Court premises even during the national State of Emergency. Those who have come into contact with those suspected to have contracted the virus must immediately be given attention in accordance with the national health regulations and international standards. This time calls for even greater sensitivity and responsiveness on the part of authorities and administrators of the Court, and all concerned” said the Law Society Secretary General.
