MBABANE: The National Executive Commitee(NEC) of the Swaziland Union of Financial Institutions and Allied Workers(SUFIAW) has released a statement, condemning the dismissal of Mbongwa Dlamini, the President of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT).
The Union says they have noted with great disappointment the Teaching Service Commission’s flagrant disregard for due process in the termination of Mbongwa\'s services adding that, this amounts to union bashing.
“It is trite that for any hearing to be manifestly fair, such must be before an independent and impartial chairperson who shall afford the employee the right to be heard which right should include the right to mitigate before a sanction is issued and any hearing that does not ensure these rights is nothing but a sham process," reads the SUFIAW statement in part released by their National Executive Committee and sent to this Swaziland News on Saturday.
