MBABANE: Alec Lushaba, the editor of the Financial Times has urged the people of Hhukwini Constituency to consider electing him as their Member of Parliament(MP) saying, his links with King Mswati and Inyatsi Group of Companies will surely enhance development within the Dlangeni and LaMgabhi eTiyeni Chiefdoms.

The editor was speaking during a campaign community meeting held at LaMgabhi eTiyeni uMphakatsi on Sunday, another similar meeting organized by the Elections Commission was held at Dlangeni on Saturday.

“I am a highly connected journalist who also writes Speeches for the King, I am very close to the King and travels with him to various countries. I work for a newspaper owned by Inyatsi, a company that owns more than thirteen(13) companies. With these connections particularly my links with the King, surely, LaMgabhi will expirience development”, said the editor.

The aspiring MP further told the voters that he was a son-in law for the late former Siphofaneni MP Gudvwane Gamedze hence he learnt a lot from him.

“As a son-in law for former MP Gudvwane Gemedze kukhona nami lengikumunyile kuye. Even though he was uneducated, he was able to bring development at Siphofaneni and I liked his style of leadership. Our community has been neglected for sometime and I am here as your Moses”, he said.

The editor will compete with former MP Khanyeti Ngwenya from Dlangeni Chiefdom.
