MBABANE: Thulisile Dladla,the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has offered urgent support for Maranatha Ntokozo Mdluli,the Liswati citizen who is stranded in Kenya with an expired passport.
The Foreign Affairs Minister called Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Monday evening seeking clarity and details of the Liswati who is stranded in the North-East African country.
This comes after the editor of this Swaziland News posted that Liswati was stranded in Kenya and the Minister was not reachable at the time, the Minister then responded and offered urgent support.
“We will assist him urgently, send me his number and give him my number as well Nkhosi”, said the Minister when speaking to the editor.
Maranatha Ntokozo Mdluli, the Liswati who has been consistently contacting this publication seeking help to connect with the nearby Embassy for assistance thanked this publication for connecting him with the Minister.
On another note, the editor thanked the Foreign Affairs Minister for prioritizing the issue of the stranded Liswati, despite her busy schedule.
The Minister is in New York, traveling with the King who is attending the United Nations(UN) General Assembly.
