MBABANE: Sikhumbuzo Dlamini, the elected Nkwene Member of Parliament(MP) has organized a meeting on Monday where Senate hopefuls and aspiring Regional women MPs are expected to campaign to newly elected MPs.
It has been disclosed that, it will cost R1million this year to bribe elected Members of Parliament(MPs) for a seat in the House of Senate.
Sikhumbuzo Dlamini, the newly elected Nkwene Member of Parliament(MP) allegedly made calls to Senate hopefuls, inviting them for a meeting to be held on Monday afternoon.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News, the Nkwene MP said, they haven’t received anything for now.
“Basengakasiniki lutfo Nkhosi, kumbe nawe ungasifunela nakukhona lobevako kutsi bayafuna(meaning: We haven’t received anything, maybe you can also assist us, if you know others”, said the MP.
