MBABANE: King Mswati, an absolute Monarch, is highly expected to announce the names of appointed Members of Parliament(MPs) in the next coming few days, who will represent and protect his interests in the House of Assembly.
The political appointments are in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News on Wednesday, Percy Simelane,the King’s Spokesperson said, he was not aware of the actual date.
“I am not aware of any date yet”, said the King’s Spokesperson.
But royal insiders alleged that, the list will be released in the coming few days after the Elections Commission confirmed results for the recently concluded elections.
