MBABANE: Jabulani Bhembe, the former Lobamba Indvuna YeNkhundla has accused re-elected Member of Parliament(MP) Michael Masilela of bribing Somnjalose High School students for votes in order to win elections.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, the former Indvuna YeNkhundla said, the MP was also assisted by eZulwini uMphakatsi to win the elections.
“Apart from bribing the students, uMphakatsi issued an order directing voters to vote for Masilela”, said the former Indvuna YeNkhundla.
Reached for comments, Michael Masilela, the re-elected Lobamba MP described Bhembe as a bitter loser, he encouraged him to try again in 2028 but under the Indvuna YeNkhundla category not the Member of Parliament.
“People vote for a candidate of their choice of their ballot box, noma ungabanikani.I understand his frustration after losing the elections.He must try against in the next elections but under the Indvuna YeNkhundla category because competition is high in the race to Parliament”, said the re-elected Lobamba MP.
