MATSAPHA:Dr Selebona Simelane, the Registrar of the University of Eswatini(UNESWA) says four thousand, four hundred and forty-four graduands(4444) are expected to attend the 41st graduation ceremony of the higher learning institution this coming Saturday.
Eswatini has about 70% of the population living below the poverty line, the country is facing scarcity of jobs amid government failure to create job opportunities, improve the economy including the ease of doing business.
“The number is 4444 graduates,Mr Maseko.Sorry, I am attending a series of meetings,"said the UNESWA Registrar, when responding to a questionnaire from this Swaziland News on Wednesday afternoon.
Reached for comments,Gabie Ndukuya,the President of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) said, as a Union they congratulate all the students who will be graduating on Saturday, but she urged students to continue to undermine the authority of King Mswati.
"As a Union we would like to congratulate all the students who will be graduating this coming Saturday especially members of SNUS.As a Union we continue to urge students to undermine King Mswati, who is not fit to be a Chancellor of UNESWA,"said the Students Union President.
King Mswati, the Chancellor of the University is highly expected to grace the graduation ceremony that will be held at Kwaluseni Campus.
