Princess Sikhanyiso in King’s highly secretive list of appointees, Spokesperson Percy Simelane says it remains confidential.

MBABANE: Princess Sikhanyiso,the former Minister of Information, Communication and Technology(ICT) is appearing in King Mswati’s highly secretive list of appointees.

Details and some names appearing on the  secretive list cannot be revealed to protect our royal sources and the fact that, King Mswati normally changes and remove other appointees once the list has been leaked.

In Siswati and/or a language used within the royal circles, a leaked document involving King’s appointees is referred to as “kuhhalatiswa” or “seyihhalatisiwe”.

Efforts to seek a comment from Princess Sikhanyiso proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report,her phone rang unanswered and she had not responded to a subsequent questionnaire sent to her.

Reached for comments earlier, Percy Simelane,the King’s Spokesperson said,until the list is officially announced,it remains confidential.

“Until the list is officially  announced,it remains confidential and it can only come to my office on its way to the public.Before then I am totally not privy to it”, said the King’s Spokesperson.

The King is highly expected to appoint new members of Liqoqo,Cabinet, Ludzidzini Council,House of Senate, Land Management Board, Ambassadors,Elections and Boundaries Commission(EBC) among other Governing Councils.

On another note, Princess Sikhanyiso, the former Information Minister, was part of the high profile guests at the Dinner organized for King Mswati by Shiselweni businesspeople on Tuesday evening, she was with Princess Temtsimba among other royal family members.
