MBABANE: Alpheous Nxumalo, the Government Spokesperson has urged emaSwati to attend Sibaya in numbers and refrain from listening to a minority of people peddling conspiracies about it’s fundamental purpose.

In a public statement sent to this Swaziland News on Saturday afternoon, the Government Spokesperson further assured the Nation that transport would be available to transport emaSwati to Ludzidzini Palace.

King Mswati is highly expected to address the Nation on Monday, royal insiders disclosed that, he will also appoint a Prime Minister before dissolving the national gathering.

“Government wishes to urge the Nation to heed to the Royal Command and converge in their numbers at SIBAYA on Monday, 23 October 2023, as the case has been with other Royal Summons in the past.Government is aware that there is a certain tiny minority of people who are peddling conspiracies through social media platforms about SIBAYA and its purpose in the central national affairs of the Kingdom of Eswatini.Sibaya remains the backbone of major decision-making processes in the country.

Government wishes to warn those who are being preemptive and dismissive about the events and deliberations of SIBAYA to desist from doing so as that may lead to other people aborting an opportunity to go to SIBAYA and hear for themselves directly from The Throne. In order to facilitate a smooth journey for the Nation to SIBAYA, Government, through the Ministry of Home Affairs, has arranged transportation to ferry emaSwati from all corners of the country to Ludzidzini Royal Residence on Monday. EmaSwati are encouraged to fully utilise this service as it has been freely made available to all”, said the Government Spokesperson.
