MBABANE: Paul Dlamini, the Chairman of the King Advisory Council(Liqoqo) has emphasized on the importance of addressing public grievances that might, if not addressed,escalate into a political unrest.

The Liqoqo Chairman was responding to questions by Indvuna uMnganiweMakhosi Sifiso Khumalo,who asked him to explain how he can address issues of the political unrest and the health crisis.

“We must encourage consistent engagements or dialogue with those who are aggrived to understand their complaints.Maybe, we can then use force in the event they are refusing to listen.On the issue of the health crisis,we must ensure that the Ministry of Health is allocated sufficient funds and that,drugs are monitored from the procurement department,” said the Liqoqo Chairman.

On another note,the Liqoqo Chairman said if he was the Prime Minister(PM), he was going to accept the petitions and address what was contained there to prevent the political unrest.

“Delivery of petitions is acceptable but there’s a way to deliver petitions. If I was the Prime Minister, I was going to accept the petitions and address the issues,” said the Liqoqo Chairman, a former Deputy Prime Minister(DPM).
