MBABANE: Thamsanqa Hlatswako, the Convenor of the “Stop Palestinian-Israel war now Campaign Swaziland” has released a statement, calling for an end to the ongoing Israel-Palestinian war.
As a result, the “Stop Palestinian-Israel campaign group” has invited members of the public to participate in a petition delivery on Wednesday.
“Swaziland is part of the international community and therefore affected by the death of citizens in both Israel and Palestinian particularly,the death of women and children,”said the Convenor.
The Convenor then invited members of the public to participate in a petition delivery at the US Embassy-Ezulwini on Wednesday.
Reuters reported on Saturday that, the death had topped eleven thousand(11000) as fighting between Israeli forces and Hamas militants escalated near and around Gaza City's besieged and overcrowded hospitals, which Palestinian officials said were hit by explosions and gunfire.
