MBABANE:Marwick Khumalo, the Lobamba Lomdzala Member of Parliament(MP) says, using money during elections is regulated in the law, the Elections Expenses Act of 2013.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Monday amid allegations of bribery for Parliament seats, the long serving MP said, the courts are qualified to interpret the law and different between bribery and fair campaign.
“Using money during elections is regulated by the law,the Elections Expenses Act,we can agree and disagree about this but, it is in the law and this is the point I was trying to make. Only the courts can interpret the law and differentiate between bribery and the use of money during fair campaigns,” said the MP when speaking to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
