MBABANE:Phesheya Dube,the Principal Secretary(PS) in the Ministry of Information,Communication and Technology(ICT) facilitated a workshop on Eswatini National Archives and Records Service Disaster Management Plan, Government online platforms reported this week.
The workshop seeks to safeguard the country’s information in the event of disasters.
“The Ministry of ICT holds a validation workshop on the Eswatini National Archives and Records Service Disaster Management Plan, which is aimed at safeguarding the country’s valuable information in the event of disasters. The Plan also addresses the challenges brought about by the free and rapid flow of information in the digital age, which makes the safeguarding and security of information critical,” reads the Government online report.
