LOBAMBA:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has emphasized the importance of working hard while maintaining a health lifestyle, Government online platforms reported on Friday.
The PM was speaking during the National Disability Sports Day and Wellness Awareness Day jointly organized by the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs and Parliament.
“There is general talk that people work hard to achieve things and by the time they achieve what they want, their health is compromised.They then have to spend money taking care of their health.Life is important.Let us have a work life balance,” said the Prime Minister.
The PM further assured Persons with Disabilities that, Government will prioritize their issues.
“I want to assure you that Government hears your cries and knows your needs and that this Government will prioritize your issues to ensure that they are being addressed.I condemn the spirit of domestic violence. We need to teach ourselves to have tolerance for one another. Let us all be careful of how we treat one another.Government will definitely strengthen its GBV interventions to end this scourge,” said the PM.
On another note, the Disability Day was also graced by among others, Speaker Jabulani Mabuza and Senate President Lindiwe Gwebu-Dlamini.
