King Mswati’s Government under the Tinkhundla system of Governance is not even ashamed to visit hailstorm victims and take a picture with a tent sourced from Baphalali Red Cross while claiming to be providing assistance.
Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Thulisile Dladla visited affected families in the Manzini and Shiselweni Regions on Saturday and the Cabinet communications team took pictures and disseminated propaganda saying government has provided assistance to sixty(60) affected families.
The DPM was actually uttering outright lies,the tents came from Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross,where are the taxes?.
Mswati,the DPM,the Prime Minister(PM) and the entire Cabinet should be ashamed of themselves,the money sourced from minerals like the Lufafa Gold Mine should be utilized to assist the affected citizens not this ‘nonsense’ and propaganda disseminated by the Tinkhundla Government.
The touring of the affected families is just a strategy by Cabinet to take pictures and source money from the international community.Where is the assistance as per the Government online report?.Is the tent sourced from Baphalali Red Cross a Government assistance?.
Why is Cabinet misleading emaSwati that assistance will be provided when in actual fact,this government has never assisted anyone, 90% of the humanitarian aid comes from donors and Government brand the donors as Tinini teNkhosi.
Where is the money that we are contributing to Government coffers through tax?.Government must use our taxes to build the over four thousand-five hundred(4500)affected families new houses.
Furthermore,the affected families must be provided with food because the storm detroyed everything particularly at Ngculwini.
Personally,a few months ago,I was developing one of my properties in eSwatini and I paid more than thirty-thousand Rands(R30,000.00)as Value Added Tax(VAT)when buying building material,I want my tax to assist the hailstorm victims not to feed King Mswati and his corrupt Cabinet.
But apart from that,where is the money sourced from the Mines that include Maloma Coal Mine and Lufafa Gold Mine?.
This government must be ashamed of itself, a whole Deputy Prime Minister taking a picture with a donated tent claiming its Government assistance.
