MANZINI:Thulisile Dladla, the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM)has urged Members of Parliament(MPs) to ensure the eradication of poverty and further br ambassadors against Gender-Based Violence(GBV) while advocating for inclusive participation of Persons with Disabilities in the development of communities.
The DPM,as quoted by Government online platforms was addressing Manzini MPs during their induction this week.
“We will strengthen partnership on issues of inclusivity of Persons with Disabilities ensuring that they are not left behind in socio-economic activities aimed at improvement of their livelihood at Chiefdoms and Tinkhundla levels.As elected politicians, it is important for you to grasp and run at lightning speed with these responsibilities. In my capacity as Deputy Prime Minister, I challenge you to ensure that by the end of your term of office, the wickedness of poverty that engulfs 59% of emaSwati is alleviated”, said the DPM.
