MBABANE:Alpheous Nxumalo, the Government Spokesperson says Lobamba Lomdzala Member of Parliament(MP) Marwick Khumalo is not among those who travelled to China to plot the second(2nd) wave of the political unrest.

Responding to this Swaziland News on Wednesday evening after being asked to clarify if a circulating online post quoting him and, accusing the MP of traveling to China was true, the Government Spokesperson said the circulating post was not true.

“It’s not true that I accused the MP of traveling to China. This is an MP I’ve known for years,we normally clash on political issues but sometimes we find each other, the circulating post is not true”,said the Government Spokesperson.

The Government Spokesperson further mentioned that, they were aware of those who are already in China to plot a political unrest and their names will soon be revealed.

The Times of eSwatini reported on Tuesday that,four(4)political leaders travelled to China with an alleged intention to plot another unrest.

But MP Marwick Khumalo told this this publication on Wednesday evening that,he never travelled to China adding that, anyone who accuses him must have his skull examined.

“This is absolute nonsense.Whoever suggested that I travelled to China needs his skull to be examined.I am in the country.Secondly,it’s been a while since I tendered my resignation as Secretary General of Sive Siyinqaba.Actually, the Exco was made aware in less than a week after winning the elections that I will soon be stepping down and I did.I needed to give maximum concentration to my parliamentary work,my constituency and personal business,” said the Lobamba Lomdzala MP.
