MBABANE:Former President Jacob Zuma’s recent decision to dump the African National Congress(ANC) has created more division within the ruling party ahead of the 2024 elections.
IOL News reported this week that Jacob Zuma recently announced that,he will vote for Umkhonto WeSizwe (MK), a new political party, and not the African National Congress (ANC) in the upcoming elections. He said his conscience would not allow him to vote for the ANC or President Cyril Ramaphosa.
But the decision has created tension within the ruling party with others other senior ANC members blaming Zuma for using the name of uMkhonto weSizwe to cause more division within the ruling party.
