MBABANE:Pictures of Prime Minister(PM) Russell Mmiso Dlamini and Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Thulisile Dladla with Sibongile Manyika were deleted from Government online platforms after the State Intelligence Unit alerted some Cabinet officials that Manyika was ‘red-flaged’ by the police.

Information gathered by this publication suggests that,Manyika had a file within the State Intelligence Unit and it is alleged that she was transporting Underground Forces linked to SWALIMO during the political unrest.
Zweli Simelane a son to SWALIMO President was later arrested after clothes belonging to a warder who was murdered allegedly by SWALIMO’s Underground Forces were found within SWALIMO President Magawugawu’s home.
Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane, the SWALIMO President later lied on his online platform that the clothes belonging to the warder were left by Siphosethu Malinga, a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) Swaziland.

But the Times of eSwatini reported  that on the 22nd December 2023 that Zweli Simelane later told the court that he did know Siphosethu Malinga, the EFF Swaziland member, he informed the court that they had never seen Malinga prior to their arrest.
“I wish to state that the first accused (Malinga) is unknown to both myself and the second applicant herein. We have never met him in our lives and we only got to know of him upon our arrest”, said Magawugawu’s son as quoted by the Times.
After being forced to delete the pictures,Manyika who was ‘excited’ to meet the PM and DPM then posted on her Facebook page saying;
“Concerns calls me to delete. I am for the course”.

It has been disclosed that, during the meeting, FESBC was warned from associating with proscribed entities.
The PM subsequently released a statement where he mentioned that FESBC was warned to focus on the mandate of promoting the interests of local businesses and refrain from confrontation with other giant businesses.
“In the same vein,Government has taken note of what appears to be a campaign by the leadership of the Federation of the Eswatini Business Community(FESBC) to bring discord and confusion within the business community. As such, Government invited FESBC to a meeting held at the Private and Cabinet Offices on Tuesday, 02 January 2024, where they presented their objectives and modus operandi as an organization.FESBC was advised to focus on their business objectives, which are basically to empower local businesses.FESBC was strongly advised to desist from confrontation with other businesses but to seek peaceful redress through relevant institutions and following laid down procedure”,said the Prime Minister through the statement.
