MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini says he is reading the late Prime Minister Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini’s book,a few hours after he released a statement thretening to deal with those accusing King Mswati of killing human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko.
The PM further ordered the Federation of Eswatini Business Community(FESBC)to stop the confrontation with giant businesses adding that, decisive action would be taken should this agenda continue.
This comes after FESBC wrote to the Eswatini Competition Commission(ECC) requesting an investigation into alleged unfair competition practices by Inyatsi Group Holdings,Montigny Investments and the Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation(REScorp).
“As the year begins,I am happy to share some of the books that I am reading in my spare time.One of these is the autobiography of our former Prime Minister, His Excellency Dr. Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini.I am also reading ‘The Sheikh CEO' by Dr. Yasar Jarrar; ‘Why Nations Fail’ by Daron Acemoglu and James A.Robinson; ‘Becoming a Leader of Impact’ by Braden Douglas as well as ‘Unequal’ by David Buckham, Robyn Wilkinson and Christiaan Straeuli”, the PM posted on his online platform.
On another note, the late Prime Minister Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini was known for arresting and implementing orders from King Mswati to kill political activists particularly members of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO).
The former PM was also known for issuing orders to the police to arrest and harass his political enemies within the Tinkhundla system.
This include the late Clerk to Parliament Ben Zwane, Lobamba Lomdzala MP Marwick Khumalo, former King’s Advisor Sandlane Zwane and former Justice Minister Sibusiso Shongwe amongst others.
