We admire the thrilling history of the ANC, the battles it fought, the cohorts of heroes and heroines it produced and the countless painful sacrifices it suffered. The long history of struggle which culminated to the defeat of the apartheid government remains an inspiration to us who are still waging a struggle against apartheid-styled royal minority rule. You have shown us that indeed it is possible.PUDEMO is proud to have been part of the people of South Africa’s journey towards their liberation as galvanised by the ANC. We continue to draw courage from our shared history and experiences. We further extend our utmost appreciation for the continued efforts and support by ANC towards the liberation of the people of Swaziland and oppressed people of the world. We applaud the ANC led government’s decision of taking the Apartheid Israel state to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for the genocide it continues to carry out in Palestine. This heroic move by the ANC is fully supported by PUDEMO. We have no doubt that the party’s commitment to international solidarity will grow in strength as it grows,” reads the statement in part.
The ANC is PUDEMO’s international partner and has, on numerous occasions, passed resolutions in support the eSwatini main opposition party and the struggle for democracy in the Southern African tiny Kingdom.
