MBABANE:Prince Thumbumuzi,the son to King Sobhuza says,Prince Mabandla is the rightful person to give a directive what must be done after the harassment of Chief Prince Magudvulela by King’s Praise Singer Qethuka Sigombeni Dlamini.
Former Prime Minister Prince Mabandla is a member of the King’s Advisory Council(Liqoqo).
This comes after this Swaziland News published an article on Friday, where Chief Prince Magudvulela clarified that,he was in good terms with the King but,Sigombeni Qethuka Dlamini stripped him his Simohlwana and subsequently expelled him from Inyatsi regiment.
Chief Prince Magudvulela further told this publication that despite the persecution by Qethuka Sigombeni Dlamini, he attended Incwala from the beginning until the end.
Some senior members of the royal family who contacted this journalist were furious and wondered who gave Qethuka Sigombeni Dlamini the powers to harass a Chief who is a senior Prince of the Hhohho region.
The Chief was harassed by the King’s Praise Singer after visiting China with other Members of Parliament(MPs) and Senators to explore investment opportunities that the country could benefit the country if diplomatic relations were to be established between China and eSwatini.
“It’s better to contact Prince Mabandla ngoba nguye lomdzala losasele, sesive ngaye kucala kutsi loku lokwentekako kungiko yini. Sitawubese-ke natsi siyalandzela siyayiteka”, said the Prince when speaking to this publication on Sunday evening.
Efforts to reach the King’s Praise Singer proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
Qethuka Sigombeni Dlamini allegedly abused King Mswati’s name to fight his personal battles with some members of the royal family, he removed Simohlwana from Chief Magudvulela, a senior Prince of the Hhohho Region.
