MBABANE:King’s appointee Senator Stukie Motsa has condemned the alleged abuse against Civil Service Commission(CSC) Chairman Simanga Mamba who was allegedly assaulted by his wife Brenda Mamba.
Reacting to an article published by this Swaziland News earlier on Monday afternoon,the Senator who is a well-known human rights advocate said,to the best of her knowledge,the abuse has been going on for some time now, she wondered what was preventing lawyer Simanga Mamba from removing himself from danger.
“Kadze amcala Brenda I think sodziniwe naye Smanga.Mine angati kutsi bantfu babeketelelani kushaywa(meaning:Its been a while now since Brenda started assaulting Simanga and I wonder why people tolerate assault.We must condemn Gender Based Violence(GBV) regardless of who is the perpetrator. Decisive action must be taken against the perpetrators”,said the Senator when sharing a comment to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
It is alleged that the wife to the CSC boss assaulted Mamba together with an alleged girlfriend, the wife appeared at the Manzini Magistrate Court.
