MBABANE:Southern Africa Nazarene University(SANU)Lecturers staged a protest at the offices of the Ministry of Education and Training(MoET) on Tuesday, over unpaid salaries and shortage of working equipment within the institution of higher learning.
SANU Registrar Sipho Mhlanga released a memorandum on the 26th January 2024, informing students about the suspension of classes.
“The above matter refers,PTD and B.Ed students are notified that classes are suspended from tomorrow till further notice,” reads the memorandum released by the SANU Registrar.
It has been reliably gathered by this Swaziland News that SANU Lecturers have been on strike since the 20th January 2024,the Lecturers were only paid 80% of their salaries and they are demanding a full payment.
