MBABANE: Prince Lonkhokhela, the Minister of Natural Resources and Energy held a meeting with His Excellency Jeremy Liang, the Ambassador of the Republic of China on Taiwan to discuss possibilities of constructing a Strategic Oil Reserve.
The Taiwan Ambassador, as reported by Government online platforms on Wednesday,was with his team of diplomats and Oil Reserves experts.
It has been reported that, the country currently holds no fuel stock reserves and bulk fuel storage infrastructure in the country is very limited. This makes the country economically vulnerable should any disruption occur in the supply chain outside or inside the borders.
