MBABANE:Gabie Ndukuya,the President of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) was,on Thursday morning, abducted by King Mswati's police.

Ndukuya, an influncial member of the vibrant Communist Party of Swaziland(CPS) was abducted in Mbabane,after attending a meeting with officials of the Mbabane Municipality and senior police officers,seeking permission for the highly anticipated Friday “Jobs and Scholarship For All Campaign," protest march.

Sambulo Shongwe, the Student union Political Educator confirmed the abduction of the SNUS President to this publication.

"She was abducted shortly after our meeting with the Municipality officials.Mbabane  Police Station Commander Dlamini and his assistant Jele were present at the meeting. Please publish this before anything happens to her," said the Students Union Political Educator.

A questionnaire was sent to Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson, however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

Eswatini is ruled by Mswati as an absolute Monarch, political activists and human rights defenders are arrested and killed for demanding.
