“You will never secure employment in this country like Colani Maseko”, elderly police officer Assistant Commissioner Clement Sihlongonyane tells abducted Students President Gabie Ndukuya.

MBABANE: Gabie Ndukuya,the President of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) has been released after being tortured and questioned by King Mswati's police.

Ndukuya, an influential member of the vibrant Communist Party of Swaziland(CPS) was abducted in Mbabane on Thursday morning, after attending a meeting with officials and senior police officers, seeking permission  for the highly anticipated Friday “Jobs and Scholarship For All Campaign," protest march.

Speaking to this Swaziland News shortly after her release, the SNUS President said, she was questioned by Senior Superintendent Clement Sihlongonyane and other senior police officers and was told the eSwatini Government will never employ her.

"Clement Sihlongonyane was questioning me with other senior police officers. I was told that I will never be employed by eSwatini Government and I will be nothing in life like former President Colani. Otherwise I'm safe, the struggle continues and the campaign will proceed as planned tomorrow," said the Students Union President.

Eswatini is ruled by Mswati as an absolute Monarch, political activists and human rights defenders are arrested and killed for demanding democracy.
