MBABANE: Sibongile Mavimbela, the Secretary of International Affairs of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) has, on behalf of the political organization released a statement mourning the death of Namibian President Hage Geingob who died on Sunday at the age of eighty two(82).
The Namibian President died at Lady Pohamba Hospital in the Capital Windhoek with his wife and children at his side.
“The People's United Democratic Movement of Swaziland is deeply saddened by the death of Comrade President Hage Geingob of the Republic of Namibian and President of our sister liberation Movement i.e South West Africa People's Organisation (SWAPO).President Geingob, as chair of SADC Troika on organ on Politics, Defense and Security, did not fear this tin pot dictator Mswati and went straight to his palace to tell him to stop the madness of murdering civillians,engage in political dialogue for a new democratic dispensation, President Geingob did not miss a chance to call out for cessation of violence and a path to genuine dialogue in Swaziland," reads the statement in part released by the PUDEMO Secretary of International Affairs.
