KING’S SPOKESPERSON PERCY SIMELANE:Foreign Affairs Minister Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu will issue statement of condolences on Namibian President Hage Geingob’s death.

LOZITHA:Percy Simelane,the King’s Spokesperson says,Foreign Affairs Minister Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu will issue a statement or letter of condolences on Namibian President Hage Geingob’s death.

The King’s Spokesperson was responding to this Swaziland News on Sunday evening,when asked when will the Head of State send a message of condolences as other Presidents in the region have already started doing same.

“It is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' responsibility to put together a letter of condolences when a Head of State has passed away”,said the King’s Spokesperson.

The late Namibian President was among the few Heads of State within the Southern African Development Community(SADC) who was eager to see eSwatini resolving political differences peacefully,he advised King Mswati to consider engaging those calling for democracy through a political dialogue.
