KZN:Julius Malema,the Commander-in-Chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) wants the Southern African Development Community(SADC) to declare that, King Mswati committed crimes against humanity for killing civilians.
Addressing thousands of EFF members and supporters at Moses Mabhida Stadium when launching the party’s manifesto ahead of the South African 2024 elections,the EFF leader stated categorically that, the party will continue to support the eSwatini struggle.
“The EFF government will continue to advocate for SADC to declare that the Monarch of King Mswati has committed crimes against humanity for all the killing of its citizens”, said the EFF leader.
Dozens of civilians were killed allegedly, by King Mswati security forces merely for demanding democracy during the recent political unrest and, efforts by SADC to facilitate an all inclusive political dialogue failed to produce positive results as the King refused to subject himself to the process.
