MBABANE: Ncamiso Ngcamphalala, the former President of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) Swaziland who later joined Tinkhundla system has labelled persecuted Member of Parliament(MP) Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane of terrorist who fled to the United Kingdom(UK) after being threatened by the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO).
Ngcamphalala was reacting in his online platform after the UK granted Simelane an asylum, a decision that did not go down well with Ngcamphalala and Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo.
“Terrorist Gawuzela left SA because PUDEMO wanted to finish him.They can give him more years of asylum in the UK,but terrorist Gawuzela will never escape the long arm of the law.He is simply prolonging his suffering and his blind loyalists are celebrating.But sometimes people laugh when a person is going to the drain.The sooner he comes back to face his problems,the better”, he said.
Ngcamphalala failed to respond when asked to clarify the statement and the accusations against persecuted MP.
On another note, the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) released a statement,thanking the UK government for granting asylum to their President.
The former EFF Swaziland President has been insulting and promoting hatred and State propaganda against political activists ever since he started receiving financial support from Government through public funds,he was owning a car-wash that later closed after he failed to manage it.
Ngcamphalala and others within the pro-democracy movement were allegedly ‘contracted’ by the State to push a government propaganda that PUDEMO kills activists in order to shape the public opinion on the killing of human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko who was assassinated allegedly, by King Mswati’s mercenaries.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News,Brian Sangweni, the PUDEMO Spokesperson described Ngcamphalala’s statement as stomach politics.
“What he is uttering is nonsensical, PUDEMO has no history of even attempting to kill anyone. We are a political movement committed to the creation and protection of a constitutional multiparty democracy where everyone will have equal opportunities to prosper in our society. We have no time for entertaining stomach based articulations.The young man should know better that it is the very same government he is protecting that is known for killing, jailing and persecuting in all manner people who are opposed to it.He is speaking nonsense”, said the PUDEMO Spokesperson.
