MPUMALANGA:The story where former Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Themba Nhlanganiso Masuku and his wife allegedly looted about two hundred thousand Rands(R200,000.00) public funds has been cited in the matter between editor Zweli Martin Dlamini,King Mswati and the eSwatini Government.
The editor and this Swaziland News was taken to the Mpumalanga High Court by the King and his Government over critical articles, they are represented by Themba Nhlanganiso Masuku.
The then DPM took an international trip to Geneva in September 2021instead of participating virtually in the United Nations(UN) Dialogue on Children Rights just to steal about R200,000.00 public funds, other world leaders participated through zoom as the world was facing the COVID-19 pandemic at the time.
Masuku was then seen sitting alone in the podium at Geneva, he later benefited the said amount, after allegedly misleading the UN that children were taken care-off in eSwatini.
The matter will heard by the court on the 13th August 2024.
