MultiStakeholder Forum(MSF) Chairperson Sicelo Mngomezulu lobbying influential institutions at the World Liberty Forum(WLC) Conference in Washington-US, to intensify eSwatini struggle for democracy.

WASHINGTON DC:Sicelo Mngomezulu,the Chairperson of the Multi-Stakeholder  Forum(MSF) is in Washington DC, the United States(U.S) lobbying influential organizations and individuals at the World Liberty Conference(WLC),to intensify struggle for democracy and influence a political dialogue in eSwatini.

The WLC is coalition of freedom loving individuals and organizations from autocratic regimes such as eSwatini the MSF Chairperson was elected to the Leadership Council of the WLC in November 2023.

Speaking to this publication on Thursday,the MSF Chairperson said, for the past weeks he had been in a closed strategic session with the WLC leadership Council,engaging in various political lobbying initiatives and high level meetings with influential figures in the USA political ecosystem .

“With the aim of communicating our message about the on-going repression in our country and also putting pressure to bear on the ruling regime in Swaziland to, amongst others,release Bacede and Mthandeni as well as other political prisoners and commit to a political dialogue exercise so as to avert further political instability and or a chaotic people's revolution.As you know the USA hosts the UN and other multilateral institutions whose work have a bearing on Swaziland’s economy and her political dynamics,it is therefore important that we make our case to these institutions and elicit their support in our struggle for a Swaziland free from despotism and single family rule", said the MSF Chairperson.
