ETIYENI:Lydia Dlamini, the Acting National Commissioner of Police has urged Christians to pray for the police as they fight crime including Gender Based Violence(GBV).

The Acting National Commissioner was represented by Assistant Commissioner Sikhumbuzo Fakudze during the LaMgabhi eTiyeni Free Evangelical Assemblies(FEA) Christianity and Criminality Indaba on Saturday, she urged the Nation to return to God in the fight against GBV  .

“GBV cases cannot be prevented since these cases happen behind closed doors, these are places which the police force cannot reach during their routine patrols. The high GBV cases are a result of a Nation that has turned its back on God,so there's an urgent need to return to him. There is also an urgent need to unlearn the culture of violence, stop beating your livestock(cattle) because that's where children adopt the culture of violence and end-up beating their partners," said the Acting National Commissioner who was represented by Sikhumbuzo Fakudze the Hhohho Regional Assistant Commissioner.
