MAPUTO:Sicelo Mngomezulu, the Chairperson of the Multi-Stakeholder Forum (MSF) has met with former Mozambican President Joachim Chissano as part of organization’s international lobbying campaign.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on his recent trip to the neighbouring country,the MSF Chairperson said they planned to intensify their international lobbying from the Southern Africa region and beyond.
"Pursuant to the MSF Secretariat’s decision to intensify its international lobbying campaign, as the Chairperson,I have been hard at work meeting leading figures in the Southern Africa region and abroad.I met with former Mozambique President Joachim Chissano when I paid him a courtesy visit during a recent trip to Mozambique where I also met certain leading figures in government and the business community in that country", said the MSF Chairperson.
Former President Joachim Chissano is also one of the founding members of the Mozambique Liberation Front(FRELIMO),he successfully ended the civil war in that country after fruitful negotiations with the rebels.
