MBABANE:Antony Blinken, the United States(US) Secretary of State has been urged by the US Congress to maintain and expand support for journalists and human rights advocates in eSwatini while strengthening the rule of law.
This is contained in the recently passed Resolution 174 that strongly condemned human rights violations in eSwatini.
“Encourages the Secretary of State and the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development to maintain and expand support for journalists, human rights advocates, and the rule of law and media freedoms in Eswatini”, reads the resolution in part.
