MBABANE:Sibusiso ‘Mabhanisi’ Dlamini, the Kwaluseni Member of Parliament has praised the government of Eswatini for repairing an over-head bridge that connects the community with the Matsapha Industrial Site.
Speaking to this Swaziland News current affairs program on Monday morning the Honorable MP said it was good to see government keeping her promise after Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe, the Minister of Public Works and Transport promised that the bridge will be fully repaired by the end of the past weekend.
“As residents of Kwaluseni, we are grateful for what government has done for us particularly for keeping the promise that the bridge will be fully repaired after the past weekend, everything is normal now” said the MP.
The Kwaluseni Member of Parliament then appealed to the authorities to allow MPs to communicate with the people through the State-owned radio saying the recent protest in Kwaluseni was influenced by lack of information as the residents were not aware that government was already in the process of repairing the bridge.
“MPs should be allowed access to the national radio, so we can communicate and update the people on what is happening. The protest was not going to take place if the people were given the right information” he said.
