MBABANE: The Swaziland United Democratic Front(SUDF) ‘invaded’ the Workers Day celebration with a strong message for the ruling Tinkhundla undemocratic regime.
The coalition of political organizations demands among others,a three thousand, five hundred Rands(R3,500.00) Minimum Wage, a genuine political dialogue and the unconditional return of all exiles.
Eswatini is not democratic, political parties are banned from participating in elections, while human rights defenders are arrested, tortured or even killed for demanding democratic reforms.
The Workers Day celebration was held at the Prince of Wales Sports Ground-Mbabane on Wednesday, it was attended by among others, Prime Minister Russell Dlamini who was stopped from addressing the workers.
