GEGE:Mciniseli Nhleko,a resident of Gege has appealed for justice from international human rights organizations after a TLB invaded his home and demolished his house on Monday midnight.

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Monday night, Nhleko said as residents, they “are being evicted by Tito Dlamini, a politically connected businessman who claimed to be the Farm Manager”.

The plight and persecution of the residents widely reported by this publication earlier, has been going on for sometime now with the country’s authorities turning a blind eye.

Worth-noting, the residents some who lived at Gege for over one hundred(100) years with their ancestors, were subsequently told that their land “is a farm and they must vacate”.

Eswatini is ruled by King Mswati as an absolute Monarch, human rights are violated with impunity and this include the grabbing of land belonging to the poor by the powerful and politically connected.

“As we speak I’m outside, my house has been destroyed”, Mciniseli Nhleko told this publication on Monday midnight.

Tito Dlamini, the alleged Farm Manager who demolished the houses declined to comment.

Eswatini citizens are facing human rights violations perpetrated by the powerful and politically connected, the judiciary is also failing to protect human rights.
