MBABANE:Percy Simelane,the King’s Spokesperson says, the Monarch accepts advice even from those who are not highly educated because he leads a Nation with diverse people not just the elite.
Responding to this Swaziland News on Monday afternoon amid concerns from other sectors of the society with regards to newly appointed King’s Advisor Vusumuzi ‘Major V’ Dlamini’s capability to advice the King, Simelane clarified that the King takes advice from both the uneducated and educated citizens.
“Our experience is that the educated and non-educated in this country equally stand a chance to advise the king who leads a Nation of both and not just the elite.Grey areas where the King requires advice are vast.There are those that need acquired skill/education and those which can be done through talent and experience”, said the King’s Spokesperson.
Vusumuzi ‘Major V’ Dlamini, the newly appointed member of the King’s Advisory Council(Liqoqo) will earn more than seventy thousand Rands(R70,000.00) per-month including allowances.
Dlamini was appointed by the King together with nineteen(19)others including Paul Dlamini,the Liqoqo Chairman, ‘Major V’ recently expressed appreciation to the King for appointing him.
