MBABANE:Donald Trump, the former United States(US) President has been found guilty on all thirty-four(34)counts of falsifying business records in his New York hush money criminal trial,CNN reported in the early hours on Friday.
It has been reported that,Judge Juan Merchan set the sentencing hearing for the 11th July 2024, Prosecutors accused Donald Trump of taking part in an illegal conspiracy to undermine the integrity of the 2016 presidential election and an unlawful plan to suppress negative information, which included concealing a hush money payment to an adult film star.
“A felony conviction of a former president or party frontrunner is unprecedented,but Trump can still run for office.The former president called the jury's decision a "disgrace" and said the "real verdict" will come during the presidential election on November 5”, reads part of the CNN report.
