REVEALED:Prime Minister Russell Dlamini to be reported to King for defying State Intelligence warning not to attend Workers Day, allegedly said “ngiya khona lapho”.

MBABANE:State Intelligence confidential information suggests that, Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini was warned against attending the May Workers Day celebration at the Prince of Wales Stadium where his security was grossly compromised.

According to the confidential intelligence report,the Prime Minister allegedly said “ngiya khona lapho” when responding to senior police officers who warned him not to attend the Workers Day Celebrations as per the findings of the intelligence and/or security assessment.

It remains unclear if the report has been submitted to the King.

But insiders within the law enforcement agency earlier told this Swaziland News that,the King was expected to be briefed about the incident or chaos that erupted during the May Day in the presence of the Prime Minister.

“I am not sure if the intelligence report has been submitted to the King but if not, it will eventually reach him”, said an insider within the State Intelligence Unit.

Responding to this Swaziland News on Wednesday evening, King’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane said, the Prime Minister’s Office was better positioned to comment about the matter.

“We are not aware of the alleged arrangement.The Prime Minister's Office is better positioned to know”, said the King’s Spokesperson.

Prime Minister Russell Dlamini declined to comment when reached by this publication regarding the matter.

Reached for comments by this Swaziland News on Wednesday evening,Sakhile Awviva Nxumalo,the President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) Youth League, the Swaziland Youth Congress(SWAYOCO) described the PM as a political novice who was not even aware why he attended the May Day.

”You will recall that this man is not actually a politician,he doesn’t even know why he attended the May Day.Phela lomuntfu kahle-kahle akasiyo politician wabekwa nje after ebe lemali lapha ka-NDMA,nawungambuta nje kutsi abeyaphi, kwayena akati”,said the PUDEMO Youth League President.

Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati,the eSwatini police Spokesperson declined to comment about the matter.

Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini was forced to flee for safety as the environment at the Prince of Wales became hostile and a threat to his security.
