MBABANE:Alpheous Nxumalo, the Government Spokesperson has urged emaSwati to support Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini in good or bad times to demonstrate true patriotism.

This comes amid a constitutional crisis after the Prime Minister declared the Office of the Auditor General incompetent, when asked to account for the missing R210million that allegedly disappeared under his watch while was he was serving as the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) for the National Disaster Management Agency(NDMA).

“We must support our country and government at all times, good or bad. That’s where true patriotism is measured”, said the Government Spokesperson when posting on his online platforms.

On another note, the Government Spokesperson blasted Lobamba Lomdzala Member of Parliament(MP) Marwick Khumalo for writing an article published by this Swaziland News on Saturday, the MP was blasting the Prime Minister over the statements declaring the Auditor General incompetent.

Nxumalo said Khumalo’s decision to write an article for this publication “is an indication that he is a friend to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini”, whom he described as a terrorist.

The MP wrote an article expressing his opinion about the statements of the Prime Minister and the subsequent decision by the Public Accounts Committee(PAC) to suspend sittings.

But Nxumalo took to his online platforms where he normally insults those opposing the Prime Minister and labelled Khumalo a friend of a terrorist.

Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini almost banged the table when grilled by editor Bheki Makhubu about the missing public funds, this was during the Breakfast Meeting with the editors held the Mountain View in Mbabane on Thursday.
