MBABANE:Prime Minister(PM) Russell Mmiso Dlamini has joined the list of high profile public figures who are hunting Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini amid attempts to silence the voices of the people through the independent media.

This comes in the midst of consistent publication of articles critical of the PM amid missing R210million at the hands of the PM,the then Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the National Disaster Management Agency(NDMA),the Prime Minister commissioned the police on Friday and one of the officers was booked at Midrand.

The PM declined to comment when reached for comments on Tuesday afternoon.

On another note, editor Zweli Martin Dlamini said, the attempts by the PM to abduct him won’t stop him from publishing critical articles that seek to demand accountability of public resources.

“I’m currently under a security support funded by an international human rights organization and South African journalists urged me to raise an alarm quickly should anything happens. So I’m grateful for the support and I will continue doing my job as a journalist”,said the editor.

The editor then urged the Prime Minister to account for the missing R210million and provide drugs in public hospitals instead of wasting public funds sending police officers to hunt him.

The eSwatini Government declared the Swaziland News and the editor as terrorist entities in an effort to silence it and as result, various attempts have been made for the past five(5) years to abduct the editor.
