MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has urged young people to respect amid criticism over the missing R210million public and donated funds as per the reports of the Auditor General(AG) Timothy Matsebula.
The PM was speaking through Tourism and Environmental Affairs Minister Jane Mkhonta-Simelane on Tuesday when opening the ongoing Commonwealth Charter Youth Workshop, the Workshop is hosted by the Commonwealth Secretariat,in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs.
Prime Minister Russell Dlamini said with respect,young people could achieve great things.
“His Majesty’s Government firmly believes in the importance of adhering to,promoting,and sustaining these values for us to achieve the shared development aspirations of Commonwealth Member countries.Thus,we excitedly welcome such a workshop,which will capacitate our young people with the relevant knowledge and skills needed for them to become positive change makers in society”, said the Prime Minister as quoted by Government online platforms.
On another note,the Prime Minister is facing criticism amid shortage of drugs in public hospitals, he failed to account for about R210million while serving as the then Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the National Disaster Management Agency(NDMA).
