LOBAMBA: Mbongwa Dlamini, the President of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT) has invited members of the public to participate in large numbers in a protest march against the ban of import cars(Dubais) next week Wednesday in Parliament, Lobamba.

This comes after Finance Minister Neal Rijkenberg published a notice that banned the importation of cars older than seven(7) years.

“We are inviting members of the public to participate in a protest march against the ban on ‘Dubais’ on Wednesday. This matter is not only affecting the car dealers and their employees but the whole country. We are using these vehicles to transport patients to hospital, the people who afford expensive cars have wall fence in their homes and cannot assist the poor even to transport them to hospital” said the SNAT President.

Dlamini said as teachers, they own cars today because of these import vehicles that they can afford adding that they wrote a letter to the Finance Minister demanding that he withdrew the notice within seven days.
