MBABANE:Hloniphile Mabuza,the wife to convicted pro-democracy Member of Parliament(MP) Bacede Mabuza allegedly demanded an imported furniture worth over R2million for her new home but,left to rent a flat after the arrest of the MP.
This was disclosed by a brother to the convicted MP who told Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini that,the wife demanded the imported furniture saying the other wives were provided with expensive furniture as well.
“She was demanding that her house must be built and completed urgently and thereafter,she demanded an imported furniture worth over R2million,all that was provided to her.But just when she was expected to stay in her new home as a wife,she left saying she wanted to rent a flat.We saw that you even wrote that she was allegedly dating one of the King’s sons, as a family we have that information,she was caught by some of our relatives”, said the brother to the convicted MP.
The wife has filed an application in court demanding that,the MP pays fifty thousand Rands(R50,000.00) monthly for her maintenance including children.
Efforts to seek a comment from the wife proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
But in her court papers,the wife told the court that,the MP was obligated to maintain her even while inside prison.
