PHUZUMOYA:King Mswati,an absolute Monarch,has ordered his army to stage roadblocks across the country ahead of the June 29 massacre commemoration this weekend.
EmaSwati are highly expected to join the Swaziland Massacre Victims and Survivors Association(SWAVISWA) in commemorating three(3) years since the 29th June 2021,dozens of protesting innocent civilians were killed by King Mswati’s army for demanding democracy.
Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo,the Army Spokesperson had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Speaking to this Swaziland News,Simanga Gina alleged that,soldiers harassed them at Phuzamoya-Siphofaneni on Thursday morning.
“We were traveling with a public transport and they stopped and searched us”, he said.
On another note,Bongani Madzabudzabu Kunene,the SWAVISA Chairperson confirmed that the organization will be commemorating the massacre.
