LONDON: Veli Mamba, the Spokesperson of the United Kingdom based political organisation, Swazi Vigil  said they have noted that the government of eSwatini always takes decisions that seeks to oppression the people, he calls for the UK to impose sanctions against the government for human rights violations

The political activist said they will continue engaging the UK government  with the aim of presenting evidence to substantiate that the eSwatini government was violating human rights.

"There is evidence that we present to the current British Prime Minister of people being beaten by King Mswati\'s police. We don't want to see Mswati when he comes here and be given a status of a king because he don't deserve that as he violates human rights. People in Eswatini are silenced through fear because the government is led by the Tinkhundla system that serve the interests of royalty not of the larger populace," he said.

On another note, Mamba said Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg was wrong to ban import cars saying in the in the UK cars as old as 200 years that were used during World Wars were allowed on the road.
